GeomexSoft introduced and educated regarding establishment and cases of Korea Land Information System and current status of establishing Land Information System of other developing countries with LX and Samah aerial survey at DGCN(Direccion General del Catastro Nacional), Dominican Republic from 23rd Nov 2011 to 29th Nov 2011 by KOTRA CSR Support Project.

First day, official introduced regarding current status and history of the Ministry after visiting DGCN.

We introduced establishment and concept of GIS and latest GIS technology.

Director and director of trade from KOTRA introduced about this event.

We could start the event with many interests.

There were a lot of fun and laugh, when LX introduced Korea introduction video because many people of DGCN already visited to Korea.

GIS application and application case for urban management.

The event was scheduled a case of establishing UIS mainly for urban management such as road management system,

stream management system, underground facilities system.

On Third day, we had a meeting with officials from the ministry of economic development plan

in order to discuss about introduction of advanced system and future promotion plan.

We suggested GIS application cases spatial information application technology and cases for unban disaster prevention

and citizen safety management such as flood warning system, danger perception and situation notice mobile system.
